Do you ever have the feeling of bleh? Like you just have too many projects or responsibilities? You’re exhausted, drained, and just not feeling any of it.
You’re barely keeping anything afloat.
Or suddenly something in your life requires so much of your attention that it seems like everything else is sinking.
I’ve been told that I’m the type of person who is able to handle a lot of projects at once. Yes [sigh], I am.
When I spread my arms and hands out in front of me, I can just see the different islands of projects and responsibilities I’m trying to keep above water.
And yes, something suddenly did take over my my focus and I couldn’t give my all to everything else. But nothing is truly sinking.
95% of what we worry about never happens.
Handling a lot of projects at once only means I’m capable of doing. And I must say, doing is not the secret.
The secret is being.
That’s why Reiki is so important because it let’s you pause from the doing and reconnect with being.
Reiki keeps you grounded.
What I also want to share with you is that whether you have one project or several, we all experience burn out. I’m not alone in this and neither are you.
So, what do you do when you’re experiencing burn out?
Well, have you ever considered that it’s purely the essence of you that you bring to your projects?
It is your zest, your breath, your essence that fuels all of your doing.
What does this mean?
It means that your past and your future have nothing to do with what you accomplish today. All you have is the present moment.
It means that when you are in the present moment, at your most relaxed, your most alive, whole, and grounded self, and when you are able to be, then your projects naturally align with you and thrive.
